Chief Defence Correspondent

Aurélie is the Chief Defence Correspondent at Euractiv. She joined as a Global Europe and Defence reporter in the spring 2023 from Bruxelles2, where she had also followed the EU foreign policy and defence as well as NATO for several years. In the spring of 2024, she took over the Politics team, guiding the coverage of the European Elections, which saw a surge in far-right movements across the continent. Aurélie studied International law and relations before jumping into journalism at Lille’s journalism school. She is French, and also speaks English and German.
