Madrid correspondent
Inés Fernández-Pontes was born in Madrid and lived in the UK since 2017. In there she worked for Spanish news agency, Agencia EFE, and completed a BA in Comparative Literature from University College London and an MA in Modern History with a specialization in armed conflicts and Middle Eastern history from the London School of Economics. On October 2024 she moved back to Spain and in May 2025 she was hired by Euractiv to be the Spanish correspondent.
