Brenda Strohmaier draws on thirty years of experience in radio, print, and online journalism. She has worked as a writer and editor for leading German media outlets, including Die Zeit, Spiegel Online, and Radio Eins. She spent 14 years at Die Welt, holding various editorial roles. Among them was that of Senior Duty Editor for welt.de, where she contributed to its development into a prominent digital news platform. As a strong believer in the European Union, she was thrilled to become the press officer for a German MEP in 2023, which hooked her on EU policy. Strohmaier studied media studies, economics, and political science and holds a PhD in sociology.
