Deforestation is affecting our ecosystem globally. The European Union has legislation in place such as its “Deforestation Regulation” or goals to reduce emissions by 2030 to counter the growing consequences deforestation.
This is why, LIFE Terra, a tree planting initiative which promotes reforestation in more than 25 European countries tries to combat deforestation on European land.
