Georgi Gotev is a journalist and Senior Editor of Euractiv.com and publisher of Euractiv Bulgaria. Georgi has a diplomatic background and was part of the diplomatic team who opened the Bulgarian mission to the European Communities in 1993. In 2007-2008 he was the Spokesperson of the Stability Pact for southeastern Europe. With Euractiv, Georgi publishes commentaries about a range of issues, including EU foreign policy, EU-Russia relations, and the post-Soviet space. He has also covered national politics and elections in the member states, including Bulgaria, as well as European elections and EU Institutional Affairs.
